Arvand Saman Kish Drilling Services Company’s most recent optimization project focused on the 8 3/8-inch hole #SI-8 in the Siahmakan oil field. This project yielded the most exceptional results among our optimization service projects. ROP increased by 247 percent, and drilling duration was reduced by 90 days. The results of this project are presented in the following figures.
Well SI-8 was deeper than 2 recent wells drilled by client. After deep investigation of drilling problems in wells SI-6 and SI-7, we recommend to use LPM to strengthen mud cake to prevent complete loss (as happened in well SI-7) and differential stuck (as happened in well SI-6). The result was awesome and Asmari formation could show resiliency with 99 pcf mud weight.
